Black Curl Magic, spearheaded by licensed cosmetologists + tight curl educators Aeleise and Aishia, is a digital media company dedicated to educating naturalistas on the art and science of their tight curly + natural hair.
In 2015, we challenged the natural hair community to give up their beloved shea butter, coconut oil, castor oil and Eco Styler gel for 30 days which sounded crazy at the time, but led to thousands of naturals around the world to fall in love with their hair; which became formally known as the #30DayHairDetox. When you sign up to our email list or text community, you can get our #30DayHairDetox Mini Guide for free!
The SeeSomeCurls Visual Library is a comprehensive digital platform for consumers. Helmed by licensed cosmetologists and vetted peer mentors, our mission is to meet all tight curlies and naturals where they are on their journey to reaching their curl goals.
The SeeSomeCurls Visual Library is designed to help you simplify your hair care, master your signature style, and get your mind and hair salon ready.

Before we even get into hair product recommendations and you race to the store to spend your hard earned coins, we strongly advise you to first learn and understand the foundation of your hair and how it behaves.
Once you get the foundation down, both the The SeeSomeCurls Visual Library and Wash Your Damn Hair Digital Book are great resources for helping you further simplify your hair care routine.
The resource option you choose will depend on your individual learning style, do you learn best my reading, being visual/hands-on, or a mixture of both?
If you enjoy reading, our Wash Your Damn Hair Digital Book is a comprehensive, fundamental guide for healthy curls. If you are more visual/ hands-on, The SeeSomeCurls Visual Library is an excellent resource to watch consumer-friendly cosmetology courses.
