Circa 2011, in the natural hair community Denman brushes used to be all the rave. However, actually designed as a blow out brush, we found that Denman brushes handles were too thin, the brush was difficult to control, it was notorious for giving hand cramps and detangling took way too long. Now with more suitable options available on the market, it’s important that we not only know how to properly use tools, but also the reasons why we use them to help simplify our wash days.
