While we’d love to be able to do everyone’s hair, between just the two of us being moms to small humans, we simply cannot. We do request hair models for various projects. Please sign up to our email list to be notified of model calls.

What should I do if I cannot locate a stylist in my area?
First, you can spread the word! Kindly encourage stylists in your area to check us out and sign up for Cut It Kinky if they’re interested in continuing their education with tight curls. Secondly, we recommend searching relevant hashtags on social media like #curlspecialist, #curlartist, #curlyhair with your city abbreviations at the end to find stylists. And last but not least, don’t be afraid to reach out to friends family on the interwebs and ask about their stylist recommendations if they’re serving bomb curls.
Can I visit a stylist that isn’t CIK trained?
Curl professionals listed in our Cut It Kinky Alumni Directory have completed all education necessary for Cut It Kinky, have formally applied to be listed in the directory, and have given their permission to be listed. With that being said, we cannot vouch for any curl professionals not included in the directory but encourage you to do your due diligence and research in finding partnering with a professional in your area.
